How VPN Deal Links Work, and Why the Checkout Total Can Differ

What an affiliate VPN deal link is, why Best VPN Finder may earn a commission, and why the price on a card can differ from checkout.

A deal button is not a checkout we run

Best VPN Finder does not sell VPN subscriptions. Unlock Deal opens the provider’s own payment page. Some of those links are affiliate or partner links. If you subscribe, we may earn a commission. You should not pay more because of that. The provider sets the price.

The cards are ordered by the published price for the term you selected. A higher commission does not move a provider up the page. The Find My VPN quiz uses the same published figures and the answers you give.

Why the card and the checkout can disagree

Introductory prices change, coupons expire, and tax is added late. A price that was correct when the card was checked can be wrong by the time you pay. Currency conversion can move the total again. If a coupon code is part of a link, the provider still has to accept it.

CometVPN’s links on this site include a published coupon for the term: one code for a month, another for a year, another for two years. DombayVPN uses one payment link for the terms it sells. NordVPN uses one offer link. LockNet VPN uses a separate checkout link for monthly, yearly, and the two-year option. Always read the amount on that page before you pay.

What we will not invent

If a provider has not published a price, the card says so. If a provider does not sell a 24-month plan, that card is left off the 24-month tab. A comparison that fills those gaps with estimates looks more complete and is worse.

Questions about a wrong price or a broken link can go to [email protected]. Advertising on the site, including Google ads if they are enabled, is separate from these deal links and is described in the privacy policy.

The numbers come from the same price list as the VPN plan comparison. Read the comparison method before treating a card as a test, and use corrections if a checkout has changed.

Sample lines, not verified reviews

These four lines were written for the page. They did not come from a survey, an interview, or a review form, and they are not evidence that a visitor chose a plan here. The stars were removed for that reason. They stay only so the owner can replace them with reviews that have a collection method.
